Water Rocket Challenge at NPL – Enter your Apprentice cohort

Over the last 20 years, we have seen 740 teams participate in the NPL Water Rocket Challenge – raising over £20,000 for their chosen charity, the Shooting Star Chase children’s hospice. For ​the ​first ​time, ​NPL ​Water ​Rockets ​are ​running ​the ​‘Apprentice ​Challenge’. Teams ​of ​up ​to ​6 ​ ​one ​member ​must ​be ​an ​apprentice ​(more ​can ​come ​to ​spectate/cheer ​on) ​arrive ​at ​the ​field ​from ​16:30 ​to ​start ​at ​17:00 ​and ​have ​90 ​minutes ​to ​open ​a ​box ​and ​follow ​enclosed ​instructions ​to ​create ​and ​prepare ​for ​the ​main ​challenge. ​No ​other ​equipment ​or ​prior ​preparation ​is ​required. ​Teams ​will ​compete ​in ​the ​main ​challenge ​against ​others ​and ​there ​will ​be ​an ​Award ​for ​the ​best ​achiever ​in ​this ​group.
