Joining forces with WorldSkills UK, CSR Scientific Training is taking part in LIVE, the UK’s largest experiential skills, apprenticeships and careers event to showcase the different career opportunities available to young people with the organisation.
Taking place from 21 – 23 November at the NEC Birmingham and attracting over 70,000 visitors, LIVE is free to attend. CSR Scientific Training will join hundreds of other employers, colleges and training providers at the event where visitors get the chance to discuss employment opportunities, have a go at different skills and get practical tips from careers advisers on how best to complete job applications and prepare for interviews.
Sally Williams at CSR Scientific Training said: “It is really important for us to be part of LIVE. Meeting with young people from all over the UK enables us to show them the wide range of career opportunities available with our company, which they may not have realised or considered.”
Dr Neil Bentley-Gockmann OBE, Chief Executive, WorldSkills UK said: “LIVE has an enormous impact on the lives of young people as they embark on identifying their career opportunities. It is great to be working with (insert name of organisation) to get our visitors excited about a career in science.”
At the heart of LIVE, are the National Finals of the WorldSkills UK Competitions. Run in over 70 skill areas, the competitions are proven to raise standards in apprenticeships and training. Apprentices and students from all of the UK will compete with the aim of being named the UK Champion in their chosen skill.
