CSR Group’s apprenticeships offer can support your staff in Healthcare Science in the different Healthcare Science divisions and scientific service roles at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Apprenticeships are a work-based qualification that combines competence and technical knowledge to give learners the practical competencies, technical skills and sector-related knowledge they need to be able to carry out their job effectively

Many of these disciplines require small workforce numbers and provide highly specialist services. These specialisms are within the health and social care system in the UK inclusive of the NHS, Public Health England and the NHS Blood &transplantationsplant service and in the private & third sector delivering NHS services for patients

You can see that the Healthcare Science apprenticeships fit a broad range of job roles and present healthcare providers with a great opportunity to develop new and existing scientific support staff using their apprenticeship levy funds.

Healthcare Science Assistant apprenticeships are aimed at NHS pay band 2 and Healthcare Science Associate apprenticeship are aimed at NHS pay bands 3 and 4.

For Pathology based roles, we also offer the Laboratory Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, which is aimed at NHS pay bands 2 and 3 and the Laboratory Scientist Level 5 apprenticeship, which is aimed at NHS pay band 4.
